We are pleased to announce that today,
January 22, IGS has received in its warehouse the first of many
weekly shipments from Eaton Hydraulics referent to the large stock
order placed with the manufacturer at the end of last year. These
weekly shipments will continue to arrive until March, when we expect
to have our stock completed and be ready to start shipping customer
orders from our location in Sunrise.
We wanted to share this information with you, since we think that this is good news to relay to your customers. The improvement in order delivery response, and reduction of problems in shipping will be easy to notice for you and for them. I.G.S. plans to maintain a 10 week stock average for the most popular metal and hose products in the Boston-Weatherhead lines, ready to ship at customer's request. In all, it represents a $500,000 investment for IGS, which we believe is a bold statement of how important it is for us to improve the quality of service to our customers.
